Game Display

Game displays vary from site to site. Here’s an example of one such display.

The display tells you which teams are playing and who’s home and who’s away. In this example, the Phillies are away and the Mets are at home. It also indicates which team is pitching and which is batting and who is pitching and batting. You also see the inning and score.

In this example, below the game display, you see readouts for your total stake, winnings, potential payout on present bets, cash balance and any bonus balance you may have. There are also a few master tabs where you may select, clear and remove all bets. Finally, there is the button you press to place your bet once you’ve made your selections.

Types of Bets

There are many different bets you can make that focus on the hitter and the inning. Below is a typical display.

The above example shows seven bets related to specific outcomes for the batter and then a general outcome wager for that same batter—either they get on base or are out. Other props include total runs, and hits by the end of half-inning and strikeouts, and number of pitches thrown in the half-inning.

The closest wagers with even odds are on the pitcher getting either no strikeouts (+101) or one (-105). Note the hefty payout on three strikeouts or more! (You can have more than three strikeouts in an inning if a batter strikes out and the catcher drops the ball and that batter runs to first and reaches it before the catcher can get the ball to first. The pitcher still gets the strikeout but the batter is safe.)
