Prop Bets Are the Essence of Live Betting

When you come down to it, most live sports bets are proposition wagers. That is, they are based on some specific occurrence in the game and often that occurrence is very difficult to determine. Which Props to Play?

There is no right or wrong when it comes to deciding which wagers you should make. Here are some good guidelines to follow.

• Watch the game live.
• Pay attention to the shifting energies.
• Remember that good pitching beats good hitting.  The lowest odds (-310) are given on the batter getting out just for that reason.
• Depending on who’s pitching and batting wager on the general outcome at the plate prop. (There are only two choices and that increases your chances of winning.)
• When you win one of those wagers and are up a few dollars, then wager on one of the seven plate outcome props.
• If you win that bet, then wager again on one of the seven props, but if you lose go back to the general outcome wager.
• Play the other three props only after you have a sense of where the inning is going.

These guidelines are designed to give you the best chance of winning some cash while risking little. All bets should be either single unit bets or represent between 1% and 5% of your stake for the game. Raise the amount you’re wagering only after doubling your money.

Props are Enticing

Live MLB sports betting props are enticing due to the fact that many offer big returns. In the example above if a homerun is hit, you’d make $1,643 on a $100 bet. But the chances of that may be extremely remote. Again, the likelihood of someone hitting a homerun is primarily a result of how good the pitching is. Know your stats and facts for each hurler and hitter and monitor the game closely if you’re going to engage in live sports betting.
